Since this medication makes you drowsy, can you take this every night instead, or will it become less effective this way. Also, if I have a glass of wine every once in awhile, is this a problem with this medication? Elavil does not appear in the list of medications which interfere with oxytrol, but you need to tell your doctor that you are taking these two medications simultaneously anyway.
