This is a very rare side effect. You should be patient untill you stop taking one or both of these medicines.

Is this a known side effect? The doses have been titrated do the lowest value that will work. I have also had severe dyplopia which was caused by a split dose of the depakote 500/250. Reducing the dosing to 250 qd solved that problem. I believe the problem is related to an interaction with another script. I have had other problems with Lamictal which was muscle control (almost like fasciculations) which occurs within 30 mins after the 100mg dose.
