I have been taking Cymbalta for fibromyalgia, lower back pain, and neuropathy since July 22, 2011. I am feeling much better and have lost 38 pounds. Two problems I am having: 1) my insurance won't pay, so I must pay $170.00 per month (my insurance wants me to take gabapentin) 2) my chlolesterol usually runs between 200 and 240, but now is at 369. My diet is lo-cal and lo-fat and I exercise. One doctor says that it is not related to the Cymbalta, the other says that infrequently it can raise chlolesterol to dangerously high levels. What's your opinion?
