My husband has WPW. The Dr. is putting him on Verapamill. There is alot of conflicting stories about using this when you have WPW. The Dr. instists that it is safe. Is that correct???

Well, it is officially safe. But there are lots of cases of side effects. What alternatives do you have?

Right now nothing until he can get to see the cardiologist which is in 2 months. Then one of the options is surgery.

Then follow the doctor's instruction, and think about the best. Maybe the surgery will be a good option.
