I had an episode of dizziness and they said I have fluid in my right ear. Ever since this episode, my blood pressure has been higher than normal. It ranges anywhere from 150/101 to 128/86. I have spoken to my dr as I never had high blood pressure before. Could the ear have caused the high blood pressure or did the high blood pressure cause the ear problem. I ended up in the emergency room because the dizziness lasted for hours. They took a CAT scan and did not find anything. I also had an EKG. My dr states that the ear and high blood pressure are two separate things. Again, my blood pressure has always been 120/80 and the bottom number has even been lower. I have taken my blood pressure now for the past 6 weeks and it still is on the 129/89. I know the bottom number is the concern. Should I take a pill for this as the dr has offered this but I am not sure I should start these because once you start I don't know if you can go off them. Please advise. Thanks.

Can over exerciseing lower your blood pressure makeing you feel tired all the time? I feel tired most of the day, and im not sure if its eating habits or doing too much exercise.
Qpills Answer
Tiredness can be caused by many reasons, including hormonal dis-balance, lack of sleep, over exercising, overeating, bad diet. Eat healthy food three-five times a day, drink lots of water, walk at the air not less than 30 minutes a day, sleep 8-9 hours a day. If your tiredness will not disappear, ask your doctor to make tests. You may also need more vitamins.

I was recently switched from Crestor to Tricor for high Triglycerides - on a whim I had my blood pressure taken and it's down from approx. 120/80 to 106/70. Is this a side effect of the medicine? and if so, should I worry? Thank you
Qpills Answer
No, you should not worry. Such pressure is normal if you feel comfortably. You can continue the prescribed medicines.
